SimpleDoctor
Prescribers of aged care facilities using SimpleMed have access to the SimpleDoctor portal, providing secure access to the medical profiles of residents under their care.
Up-to-date Information
Residents’ medical profiles, including allergies and health conditions, medication history and current medication charts are consolidated into one central comprehensive patient record.
Electronic Prescribing
National residential medication charts (NRMC) are prescribed directly in the portal and transmitted securely via the platform to residential aged care facilities and pharmacies supplying DAA packs.
eNRMC (Transitional )
Real-time Updates
With NRMC, there are no paper-based medication charts. Once a medication chart is created and uploaded to the system by a prescriber, the chart is available instantaneously to the residential aged care facility and the pharmacy. Prescribers can review, add/edit the medication chart as required.
System Notifications
The SimpleDoctor automated system notifies prescribers when medication charts are due for review every four months. A separate module assists prescribers with managing controlled drug prescribing that has additional regulatory requirements.
